Central Oregon cities could see several inches of snow and single-digit nighttime temperatures by Saturday night, according to National Weather Service forecasts. On Thursday, the agency issued a winter storm watch for most of Central Oregon from Friday afternoon through Saturday night. Bend, Madras, Prineville and Redmond could get 2 to 4 inches of snow by Saturday night, while Sisters and La Pine could get up to 7 inches, according to forecasts. Low temperatures Saturday night in High Desert cities are expected to be about 8 to 10 degrees.

In the Cascades, including Santiam Pass and Government Camp, the weather service predicts between 9 and 14 inches of snow by Saturday night.
