A forecast for snow and poor travel conditions in the Columbia River Gorge and northeast Oregon has resulted in a number of schedule changes involving Central Oregon high school teams.

• Ridgeview’s basketball games against Hood River Valley, originally scheduled for Friday night, have been moved to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, the boys at HRV and the girls at Ridgeview.

• Crook County’s basketball games against Pendleton, originally set for Friday, have been changed to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, the boys at Crook County and the girls at Pendleton.

• The Intermountain Conference district swimming championship meet in Hood River (including Redmond and Ridgeview high school teams), originally planned for Friday and Saturday, has been rescheduled as a finals-only event on Friday, starting at 10 a.m.

• The Intermountain Conference district wrestling championships in Pendleton (including, Redmond, Ridgeview and Crook County) will take place Friday and Saturday as planned, but Friday’s schedule has been expanded to include the semifinal round. The tournament will conclude Saturday, starting with consolation semifinals at 9 a.m.
