SISTERS — Riding a two-game winning streak, Sisters could not continue the momentum Tuesday night.

The Outlaws were no match for Philomath, falling 63-23 in an Oregon West Conference girls basketball game at Sisters High School.

The Warriors, who entered the game 13-2 overall, 3-0 in league play and No. 4 in OSAA’s 4A power rankings, took control early, building a 23-3 lead by the end of the first quarter.

Down 34-5 at halftime, Sisters kept fighting, scoring 10 points in the third quarter.

The Outlaws could not slow down Philomath.

Isabelle Spitler scored six points in the loss. RylieReece Morgan added four points.

Sisters (2-2 OWC, 4-12 overall) plays at Stayton Friday.
