Two members of the Central Oregon Football Officials Association have been selected to officiate at the 2014 Oregon East-West Shrine All-Star Football Game in Baker City. The 62nd annual contest, a showcase for graduated senior players from Class 4A, 3A, 2A and 1A Oregon high schools, is set for 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, at Baker High School.
According to COFOA commissioner Tim Huntley, the six-man crew assigned to the Shrine game will include COFOA’s Mike Durre, of Bend, and Rick Torassa, of Redmond. Both will serve as side judges for the contest, which is a benefit for the Portland Shriners Hospital for Children.
