SISTERS — Corey Prugh, who won the Oregon Open Invitational when it was last staged at Aspen Lakes Golf Course in 2008, is poised to do it again.

The PGA professional from Spokane, Washington, leads by two strokes going into Thursday’s final round of the 54-hole championship. Prugh carded a 6-under-par 66 on Wednesday and is at 8-under 136 through two rounds. In second place is Colin Inglis, a pro from Emerald Valley in Creswell, who shot a second consecutive 69 for a 36-hole total of 138.

Two Central Oregon pros playing out of Black Butte Ranch, Casey King and George Mack Jr., are tied for seventh place at 142. First-day leader David Ganz, an amateur from Gonzaga, slipped into a tie for ninth at 143.
