SUNRIVER — The second round of the Sunriver Junior Open, schedule to be played at Sunriver Resort’s Meadows course Wednesday, was canceled due to hazardous air quality.

Originally slated as a 54-hole boys and girls championship, the American Junior Golf Association tourney will now be a 36-hole championship. The final round is expected to be played Thursday at the Meadows course.

The tournament started Tuesday for a field of 132 players representing 20 states and two foreign countries.
