Bouldering event moved to Sept. 26

The Boulder Brawl, originally scheduled for this Saturday night at 10 Barrel Brewing Company’s eastside Bend location, has been postponed until Sunday, Sept. 26, due to expected heavy rain and winds.

The bouldering competition will feature top climbers from around the country, including up to two Olympians.

The Boulder Brawl will include 12 climbers competing for a share of a $20,000 prize purse, according to a news release. The competition runs from 6 to 10 p.m.

Bouldering is a form of rock climbing performed on small, overhanging rock formations, without the use of ropes or harnesses.
