A rundown of games and events to watch for locally and nationally from the world of sports (all times Pacific):
NBA basketball, Oklahoma City at Portland, 7:30 p.m. (TNT, NBC Sports Northwest): After a big road win Sunday night to take a 3-1 series lead, the Blazers return home with a chance to close out the Thunder for their first playoff series win since 2016. If OKC manages to extend the series, Game 6 would be Thursday night in Oklahoma City. A Game 7, if needed, would be Saturday in Portland.
Pro football, NFL draft at Nashville, Tenn., 5 p.m. (ABC, ESPN, NFL Network): Round 1 of the 2019 draft opens the NFL’s three-day, seven-round talent restocking process. Many believe Kyler Murray, the Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback from Oklahoma, will be the No. 1 pick by the Arizona Cardinals. Rounds 2 and 3 take place Friday, and Rounds 4-7 are set for Saturday.
College softball, Oregon State at Oregon, 3 p.m. (Pac-12 Network): It has not been the best of seasons for either the Beavers or the Ducks, both currently positioned near the bottom of the Pac-12 standings. Friday’s game starts a three-game series that could help either team build some momentum for a strong finish. The Saturday and Sunday games are also set to air on the Pac-12 Network.
Prep girls tennis, Bend Invitational: The 16-team field features Bend High, Mountain View and Summit and includes last year’s 6A state champion (Lake Oswego), 5A champ (Corvallis) and 4A/3A/2A/1A champ (Oregon Episcopal). Two days of action at the three Bend high schools and Juniper Park culminate in the championship final at Bend High at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
