Against New Mexico State, Jordan Dail (6-0) pitched a complete game, allowing just one run on three hits with seven strikeouts. Shaye Bowden’s fourth-inning solo home run gave Oregon (8-3) the lead for good. In the second game, pitcher Maddie MacGrandle (2-3) limited Bethune-Cookman to five hits, but the Wildcats scored five runs (two earned) due to several Ducks errors. The Ducks’ offense struggled, managing just four hits. Oregon next plays Army on Friday.
