Starting pitcher Michael Hooper allowed six runs in 3 2⁄3 innings as the Elks dropped their second straight game to the Corvallis Knights, 11-4.

Bend (4-16) scored three runs and narrowed the margin to 6-4 in the bottom of the fifth inning when third baseman Jake Holton hit a two-run double and Jake Singer scored on a third-strike swing. But the Knights responded with five runs in the sixth.

The Elks will host a pass-the-bucket fundraiser for Special Olympics High Desert during the series finale against Corvallis on Sunday.
