John Arndorfer doubled home Jake Holton in the bottom on the 10th inning, lifting the Bend Elks (3-7) past the Bellingham Bells (5-5) on Tuesday night at Vince Genna Stadium in Bend.

After watching Bellingham push across six runs in the top of the fourth, Bend answered back with five in the bottom of the inning.

The Elks tied the game in the seventh on a sacrifice fly by former Ridgeview High School standout Collin Runge, scoring Ty Holmstrom.

Coen Wynne picked up the win for Bend. Brennan Patterson chipped in with five shutout innings of relief, keeping the Elks in striking distance.

Arndorfer was 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBIs. Tristen Alvarez added a two-run homer — his second this summer — to cap off Bend’s five-run fourth inning.
