A rundown of games and events to watch for locally and nationally from the world of sports (all times Pacific):

Running, Boston Marathon, 5:30 a.m. (NBCSN): Portland native and former University of Oregon star Galen Rupp, the 2017 men’s runner-up, is among the featured entries in the 122nd running of the world’s oldest marathon. Another former Duck, Jordan Hasay, who finished third among the women last year at Boston, announced Sunday that she has withdrawn from this year’s race with a foot injury.

NBA basketball, New Orleans at Portland, 7:30 p.m. (TNT, NBCSNW): All their hard work to gain the home-court advantage for the first round of the playoffs went out the door for the Trail Blazers with Saturday’s Game 1 defeat. That puts the heat on Portland to win Game 2 against the Pelicans on Tuesday before the best-of-seven series shifts from the Moda Center to the Big Easy for Game 3 on Thursday night.

College baseball, Oregon at Oregon State, 6 p.m. Thursday, 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday (all on Pac-12 Network): Civil War foes face off for the first time this season in a three-game Pac-12 series at Goss Stadium in Corvallis. The Beavers are a contender for the College World Series, while the Ducks, mired in the lower half of the conference, would like nothing more than to sidetrack their biggest rivals.

Prep track and field, Summit Invitational in Bend, 10 a.m.: More than 20 teams are expected to compete in this highlight midseason meet, staged just four weeks ahead of the state championships in Eugene. Joining the host Storm will be teams representing Bend, Mountain View, Redmond, Ridgeview, Crook County, Sisters, La Pine and Culver high schools, among others from outside the region.

Running, Bend Marathon and Half: In its fourth year, this event features a full marathon starting at 7 a.m. and includes a half marathon that starts in waves at 8:30 and 8:45 a.m. A 10K race starts at 9 a.m., followed by a 5K starting at 9:15. All races start and finish on Brooks Street next to the Mirror Pond parking lot in downtown Bend. For course maps, registration and more information, go to www.bend-marathon.com.
