The 2019 Bend Bicycle Film Festival, presented by the Bend Endurance Academy, is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday at Bend’s Tower Theatre. Doors open 
at 6 p.m. Tickets are $11, available at

According to a news release, the mission of the Bend Bicycle Film Festival is to celebrate artistic expression and stimulate excitement within the Central Oregon cycling community.

The event spotlights local adventure-film makers, celebrates cycling in Central Oregon and promotes Bend Endurance Academy cycling programs to children and families. It is also a fundraiser for BEA, which provides activity programs in climbing, cycling and nordic skiing.

The Bend Bicycle Film Festival was launched in May 2009 to showcase local short films that feature the cycling culture in Central Oregon.
