The Woodward WreckTangle in Bend’s Old Mill District will officially open on Friday, according to a news release.

The WreckTangle is an obstacle challenge for kids and adventurous adults. Participants attempt to pass through 10 different obstacles in the fastest time possible. They can also track their time, measure individual progression, and compete against other WreckTangle participants from around the country using the Woodward WreckTangle app on their mobile devices.

Woodward is an experiential action sports company owned by Powdr Corp., which also owns Mt. Bachelor ski area.

The WreckTangle, located just south of the Les Schwab Amphitheater, will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Sept. 2. This Friday’s opening celebration is scheduled for 3 to 8 p.m. and will include a variety of free clinics.

Cost is $20 for a one-hour session, $90 for a five-pack of one-hour sessions, or $160 for a 10-pack of sessions.

The WreckTangle in Bend will also host weekly competitive events and end-of-season WreckTangle championships.
