The latest film by Warren Miller Entertainment, “Face of Winter,” is scheduled to be shown three times this weekend at Bend’s Tower Theatre. The film will be shown at 6 and 9 p.m. on Saturday, and at 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Miller — who built a legacy by making ski and snowboard films — died in January at age 93. According to a news release, “Face of Winter” celebrates the man who became known as the face of winter throughout the industry.

In the 69th feature film by Warren Miller Entertainment, new and veteran athletes come together to pay tribute to Miller, including Jonny Moseley, Seth Wescott, Kaylin Richardson, Michael “Bird” Shaffer, and members of the U.S. Cross Country Ski Team, including 2018 Olympic gold medalist Jessie Diggins.

The athletes are filmed in France, British Columbia, Alaska, Chile, Iceland, New Zealand and elsewhere.
