January 15, 1960 - November 16, 2019

Eddie William Clark passed away November 16, 2019, at the age of 59, surrounded by his loving wife and three sons in the state of Arizona.

He was born and raised in Central Oregon. Eddie enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, and live sports events. One of his favorite outdoor events was a hike he took with his three sons on Mount Hood in Oregon.

He earned an Associate of Science degree in Crop Management from Linn-Benton Community College and was in agricultural sales and management for 36 years.

After being diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s) Disease in October 2015, he became very active in the Arizona ALS Association as a community advocate and supported other newly diagnosed ALS patients. He received the Iron Horse Award for his passion of helping other patients and their families living with ALS. He participated in four different ALS research trials in hopes of finding a cure for ALS.

Those left to cherish him include his wife of 35 years, Karlen Light Clark; three sons, Justin, Caleb, and Shane; mother, Thelma Birdsong Clark; brothers, Bruce and Don Clark; and sisters, Shirley Earl and Cheryl Simmons. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Clark.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Culver Christian Church located at 501 4th Ave, Culver, Oregon 97734 in the Fellowship Hall on December 7, 2019, at 11:00 am.
