Paul was born in Roseu, Minnesota, on January 25, 1930, the youngest of six children.
Paul served in the Army in the Korean conflict. He married the mother of his children, Mary Crystal Simpson, in Reno, Nevada, on April 6, 1953.
Paul drove for Coca-Cola for 13 years. He owned and operated the South Highway Tavern for seven years. He also started the first bar at Mt. Bachelor Lodge in 1969.
Paul retired at the age of 47 and traveled in his motor home to many places in the U.S. and Mexico. Paul liked motorcycling with his son, playing pool, and chess. The computer was his latest interest.
Paul is survived by his daughter, Marcia (husband, Tom) Sedlmeyer of Bend, Oregon; son, Ron Marcoulier, of Roseburg, Oregon; the mother of his children, Mary C. Pitts, of Roseburg, Oregon; three grandchildren, Stacie, Cheryl and Ryan; and four great-grandchildren, Zachary, Caitlyn, Alexandra, and Lucus. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters, and an infant son, Rodney.
No services will be held at this time. Autumn Funerals have been entrusted with arrangements.
