The Bulletin is seeking readers' responses to its Faces of Homelessness series, which profiled more than 30 people experiencing homelessness in Central Oregon over the course of 2022.
The series told dozens of stories from across the communities in the region and highlighted people making due with a wide range of living conditions.
Now, The Bulletin is hoping to hear from readers about how those stories impacted their understanding of homelessness in Central Oregon.
If you've read any part of the series, we hope you'll take a few minutes to tell us your thoughts in the survey below, or online at bendbulletin.us/FOHsurvey.
Excellent series. I just noticed this morning that USA Today picked up and followed up on the story on Buddy Blair and family in Sisters--first reported in the Bulletin.
I thought this was a great series, showing the different sides of homelessness in our community. I think it's easy to say, oh, just get a job, but once you are familiar with the individual situations you see that it's almost never that simple. Good community reporting.
