The Local Market, a cannabis retailer on First Street in Bend, was fined for repeatedly not placing tracking system labels on marijuana products on display, according to the Oregon Liquor Control Commission.

The shop, owned by High Desert Equity Partners Inc., accepted responsibility for the violations that included failing to reconcile inventories at the end of each business day and not placing tracking labels on products on two separate occasions. The OLCC on Thursday approved a stipulated agreement fining the company $2,970, or an 18-day license suspension. The penalties begin Aug. 15.

The violations were detected during a routine inspection in February, according to OLCC documents.
