I admit to being ambivalent about the Les Schwab Amphitheater’s improvements. The stage lighting effects were terrific. However, as soon as two people stand up 15 rows below you the performers are no longer visible. I don’t want to dissuade folks from standing but if the stage had been elevated during the remodel it would have worked a lot better for sitters and standers.
