I noted in the news that there were still 65,000 votes to count in Clackamas County. Given Chavez-DeRemer's current lead of about 6000 votes, McLeod-Skinner could overtake her opponent with 55% of the remaining votes.

Transitory Inflation

Well, at the end of the day, if it's going to be an anti-abortion right-winger, better that it is not Bentz, and that they are from HV, rather than rural Oregon.

The national Democratic Party PACs (led by Pelosi) failed in this race. They would rather defeat a progressive from their own side than defeat a Republican.

I do not know which part of Clackamas County still needs to be counted, but the part of the county in the 6th Congressional District has given Democrat Andrea Salinas a 54.74% lead. So, hang on!
