Cascades East Transit plans to host open houses throughout Central Oregon during January as it begins planning for its next 25 years of service.

The first open house was held Tuesday in La Pine. The next is planned for Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at the Rodriguez Jefferson Library Annex in Madras.

A Redmond event is scheduled at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 22 in Redmond City Hall, Warms Springs will host an event at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 23 in the Warm Springs Community Center, and Crook County’s open house is scheduled at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 24 in the county library in Prineville.

Bend’s open house will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 29 at the Trinity Episcopal Church. With the exception of the Bend event, all other open houses will last two hours.

A virtual open house is online at https://cet2040masterplan.metroquest.com/ through Feb. 7 for those who can’t make any of the events.

Cascades East Transit provides bus service in Bend and surrounding communities. Feedback received at the open houses will help the agency determine service priorities.
