A third Bend resident has been arrested in connection with a weekend incident in which two teenage boys allegedly shot another teenager over marijuana.
Bend Police believe Jesus Salvador Diego, 18, drove the two 15-year-old boys to an apartment on 2500 NW Regency St., where police said they shot 16-year-old Trey Evans. The boys also stole marijuana from the apartment before Salvador Diego drove them away, police said.
Police arrested Salvador Diego Wednesday afternoon and booked him into the Deschutes County jail on charges of robbery and felony criminal conspiracy, according to police.
Brandon Perez Rodas and Israel Antunez Garcia, both 15 and of Bend, face adult charges of first-degree robbery, first-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon. Both have been assigned public defenders and are expected back in court Tuesday.
Police do not expect any more arrests in this case.
