Salvation Army donation trucks hit by vandalism — The manager of a Eugene Salvation Army store says the vandalism of two of their trucks that pick up donations couldn’t have happened at a worse time. Joey Versaw said Friday the store is already hurting for donations and the broken windows, dented roofs and stolen tools make their situation worse. The vandalism happened early May 14. At least one man climbed a fence and used a brick to break the windows in two donation trucks. They stomped on the trucks’ roofs. Eugene Police say they arrested one suspect, Gregory Alan Weldon, 45.
