The man suspected of killing a woman Saturday at a Bend apartment was indicted in Deschutes County Circuit Court on Monday on a manslaughter charge.

On Monday, Alan Peter Porciello, 36, faces one count of first-degree manslaughter and one count of unlawful use of a firearm in the shooting death of Jenny Lynn Cashwell, 37.

At around 3:45 p.m., Bend Police were called to Cedar West Apartments on NE Watt Way where they discovered the body of Cashwell.

Cashwell, 37, had two daughters, 8 and 11, according to GoFundMe page established to raise money for the girls.

Porciello is being held in Deschutes County jail on a no-bail hold. His next court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 22.
