A 26-year-old Bend man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly growing and selling hallucinogenic psilocybin mushrooms.
Bend police searched the home of Denver William Lee on the 100 block of Northwest Portland Avenue and discovered psilocybin mushrooms in various stages of growth. Officers also found evidence of delivery and distribution of the mushrooms, according to a release from the Bend Police Department.
Police initially received information Tuesday that Lee was growing and selling the mushrooms. Officers on Wednesday obtained a search warrant for Lee’s home.
Lee was arrested and booked Wednesday in the Deschutes County jail on charges of possession, delivery, manufacturing and distribution of psilocybin mushrooms.
