A man was shot Monday evening at the Jack in the Box restaurant on Northeast 3rd Street in Bend.

Bend police officers, responding to reports of a shooting, found a man with multiple gunshot wounds in the drive-through area of the restaurant. Another man at the scene was still armed with a handgun, according to a Bend police press release.

The wounded man was taken to St. Charles Bend for treatment, and the man with the gun was taken to the Bend Police Department to be questioned.

Bend police have not released the names of either man. However, according to the press release, both men have been identified, and police have contacted a 39-year-old transient and a 39-year-old Medford resident.
