A Crook County woman is facing a murder charge in connection with the death of a man in the Juniper Acres neighborhood last month.

In a news release, the Crook County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Tina Marie Hill, 53, on charges of first-degree murder, second-degree manslaughter, reckless endangering and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Hill is suspected of killing 51-year-old Dennis Allen Stewart at a cabin on Southeast Myrtlewood Lane where both were living. Crook County sheriff’s deputies were called to the property on Nov. 23 for a welfare check, and they found Stewart dead with “suspicious injuries.” Hill and Stewart had what the sheriff’s office described an “on again/off again” domestic relationship for several years.

In 2016, Hill was arrested following an alteration with Stewart at the same address, during which she fired multiple shots at Stewart, missing him but striking and injuring a dog.
