Jefferson County voters have until 8 p.m. Tuesday to drop off their ballots for the Nov. 7 election. County residents are voting on two different measures, including a Madras Aquatic Center levy and a property tax measure that would fund two sheriff’s deputies at Crooked River Ranch.
Ballots must be dropped off at the Jefferson County Clerk’s Office, temporarily located at 169 SW Seventh St. in Madras, or at an official election drop box by 8 p.m. Drop boxes can be found at:
• Culver City Hall, 200 W First St.
• Metolius City Hall, 636 Jefferson St.
• Crooked River Ranch Administration Area, 5195 SW Clubhouse Road
• Confederated Tribe Fire Safety, 2112 Wasco St., Warm Springs
Ballots were mailed Oct. 18. Nearly 4,000 ballots were submitted by 4 p.m. Friday.
Jefferson County is the only Central Oregon county with issues up for vote in this election.
