Fire destroyed a vacant rental home in Crooked River Ranch Saturday night.

After receiving multiple reports of a structure fire at 10:52 p.m., Crooked River Ranch Fire & Rescue arrived at 5724 SW Shad Road to find a double-wide mobile home engulfed in flames. The fire had spread to nearby trees and grass. Firefighters contained the fire, but the home, owned by Raymond and Terri Bellm, was a total loss. Several trees damaged by fire were felled for safety concerns, according to a release from Crooked River Ranch Fire & Rescue.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
