Parrilla Grill: 79 — Carton of raw shell eggs is stored over fruit and vegetables in walk-in cooler. Steam table pinto beans at 120 degrees, black beans at 125 degrees. Bottle of ibuprofen on shelf over prep table. No chlorine test strips available for dish machine. QUAT ammonia strips for sanitizer buckets are damaged. Customer holding small dog while awaiting to-go order
The Dough Nut (Galveston): 81 — The establishment does not have running water, Rubbermaid cooler with push button was set up as a handwashing station. No handwashing set-up is available in restroom. No running water in establishment includes no running water at three-compartment sink. No dishwashing or warewashing can take place at this establishment. Operators stated that all dishes and equipment have been taken to eastside Dough Nut for washing for the last several weeks during intermittent water outages. Employee is operating food establishment when no running water is available. No running water is available in establishment for flushing toilets or washing hands in restroom. Handwashing sink does not have running water.
Immersion Brewing: 82 — Observed employee placing cooked chicken into plastic bin, tightly covering it, bin was placed in walk-in refrigerator to cool. Chicken in reach-in fridge held at 48 degrees, cod held at 45 degrees for unknown time. Brew sauce with date of two weeks prior to inspection in reach-in on cook line. Observed employee draining grease from bacon into a pan located in hand-washing sink. Across from cook line, person in charge was aware hand washing sink was for only hand washing.
Los Tres Caballos: 84 — Rice was at 48 degrees, was just pulled from the walk-in (was placed there the night prior). The white shelving unit in walk-in has mold growth. No ready -to -eat food in the walk-in had a date on it. No thermometer in reach-in fridge on cook line.
Coho Coffee Co. (NW Seventh Street): 84 — Raw bacon stored in drawer with vegetables. Main hand sink loose on wall, not fully draining and not sealed to wall. Hand sink in main kitchen blocked with dirty towels. Noted wiping cloth on counter top. Microwave, area around mop sink, interior of cooler and several other areas noted with an accumulation of soil.
Health inspections were conducted by the Deschutes County Public Health Department and reflect violations observed at inspection. The violations can range from general sanitation and maintenance to violations that have a direct connection to preventing foodborne illness to violations in procedures by maintenance that control the risk of foodborne illness, such as documentation, labeling, personnel training and equipment.
