Brandi Carlile will headline Les Schwab Amphitheater for the fourth time this summer.
The Washington roots rocker, known for songs such as “The Story” and “The Joke,” will perform at the amphitheater at 6:30 p.m. May 23. Carlile and her band last played the venue in 2018.

Carlile’s sixth studio album, “By the Way, I Forgive You,” released in 2018, netted her first Grammy Award for Best Americana Album; its single, “The Joke,” also won Best American Roots Song and Best American Roots Performance. Last year she formed the country supergroup The Highwomen with Amanda Shires, Maren Morris and Natalie Hemby.
