Jerry and Susan (Evans) Inman, of Bend, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a dinner and a Northeast Oregon tour.

The couple were married June 19, 1954, in Rome. They have four children, Todd, of Lebanon, Tennessee, Eric, of Ponder, Texas, Martitia, of Gallitan, Virginia, and Christopher, of Warrenton, Virginia; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Inman graduated from Stanford University in 1956 and joined the U.S. Foreign Service, where he was a U.S. diplomat for 31 years. With his wife, he traveled to Washington, D.C., the Philippines, Korea, Venezuela, Mexico and Japan. He returned to Japan in 1987, where he worked for The Asia Foundation as a Japan representative for eight years. Mrs. Inman is a board member for the Sunriver Music Festival, Cascade Theatrical Company and Sunriver Stars Community Theater. The couple raises alpacas and dachshunds on their farm.

They have lived in Central Oregon for 14 years.
