Median home prices in Bend and Redmond increased in October, on a monthly basis and year over year, according to a report released Wednesday.
In Bend, the median price for a single-family home rose to $471,000 last month, about 7% higher than the median in September and almost 9% higher than October 2018, according to the report from The Beacon Appraisal Group of Redmond.
The median price represents the midpoint, with half the sales above and half below.
Last month, 220 homes sold in Bend, and they spent a median 86 days on the market.
In Redmond, the median price for a single-family home reached $327,000 last month, less than 1% higher than the median in September but more than 13% higher than October 2018, according to the report.
Last month, 90 homes sold in Redmond, and they spent a median 73 days on the market.
