A man robbed Umpqua Bank in Bend on Friday afternoon, making off with an undisclosed amount of money.
The Bend Police Department is investigating the incident, which was reported with a 911 call at 12:50 p.m.
According to Bend police, a man walked in the bank branch at 61515 S. U.S. Highway 97 and demanded money. No weapon was observed during the robbery and no one was reported injured, according to Bend Police spokesman Lt. Jason Maniscalco.
The man is described as being 6 feet tall and 180 pounds and between ages 25 and 40. He was wearing a blue sweater and a blue baseball hat and may have been wearing a disguise.
Police will release more information after reviewing security footage, Maniscalco said.
“We just don’t know much at this point,” he said.
