The Bethlehem Inn, Bend’s community-supported emergency shelter, this year celebrates 20 years of providing shelter, food and case-management services for homeless people in Central Oregon. The anniversary falls at an apt time for the shelter, which is just about to conclude Transforming Lives Together, a capital campaign for $9 million to build two new structures in Bend. The campaign is about $100,000 short of its goal, according to Director of Philanthropy Kim Fischbach and Executive Director Gwenn Wysling. (Visit bethleheminn.org/capital-campaign for more information.) To that end, the inn will host a benefit concert at The Pavilion on Sunday featuring local pop-rock/party band Precious Byrd, which released the six-song EP, “Wolves,” earlier this year. All proceeds from the $25 admission and raffle ticket sales will go to the capital campaign, and tickets will be available at bendticket.com through 5 p.m. Friday or until the show sells out. Come out, rock out and support a great cause.

Precious Byrd: 6 p.m. Sunday; $25 plus fees in advance; The Pavilion, 1001 SW Bradbury Drive, Bend; bethleheminn.org, bendticket.com or 541-389-2820.
