Sisters Folk Festival veterans and frequent collaborators Keith Greeninger and Dayan Kai will return to The Belfry on Thursday, almost exactly one year since their last performance at the venue. (Before that, it had been at least four years since the duo made a Sisters appearance, as they revealed in interviews with GO! Magazine last year.) The two well-traveled folksingers — Kai spent his youth bouncing between Hawaii and California, while Greeninger did carpentry work in Central America before becoming a full-time musician — have collaborated since 2001, with their music revealing a shared love for nature and soulful storytelling. Another frequent Sisters visitor, blues-rock guitarist David Jacobs-Strain, will open the show.
Keith Greeninger and Dayan Kai, with David Jacobs-Strain: 7 p.m. Thursday; $20 plus fees in advance; The Belfry, 302 E. Main Ave., Sisters; belfryevents.com.
