Trombone Shorty will bring a “Parking Lot Symphony” to Bend this summer.
The New Orleans trumpeter and trombonist born Troy Andrews will perform at Les Schwab Amphitheater on July 5 with his longtime band, Orleans Avenue. Son Little will open the show.
Trombone Shorty, known for his work as a jazz bandleader as well as sideman work with artists such as Cee Lo Green, Galactic, She & Him and more, released his first album for Blue Note Records, “Parking Lot Symphony,” in 2017.
Tickets cost $44.50 plus fees in advance or $50 day-of-show, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Ticket Mill in the Old Mill District or at bendconcerts.com/event-detail/TromboneShorty2019.
