If hens love roosters and geese love ganders, who does everyone else love? If you knew the answer to that question, congratulations: You’ve probably seen enough of “The Simpsons” to appreciate Okilly Dokilly’s Ned Flanders-inspired hard rock. If you didn’t, then find out why everyone (save Homer) loves Springfield’s most pious next-door neighbor at Volcanic Theatre Pub on Thursday. The world’s first and only “heavy Nedal” band returns to the venue with a new lineup, new music from its upcoming sophomore album “Howdilly Twodilly” and enough cromulent “Simpsons” quotes and references to embiggen even the most hardened heart. Or, to quote the band (and hence, Flanders himself): “Freeze and prepare for re-Neducation.”

Okilly Dokilly, with Playboy Manbaby: 9 p.m. Thursday; $15; Volcanic Theatre Pub, 70 SW Century Drive, Bend; volcanictheatre.com or 541-323-1881.
