As the summer concert season gets underway, promoters are still announcing shows. Read on for this week’s additions:
• San Diego reggae/rock band and Bend favorite Tribal Seeds will return to the city to play Oregon Spirit Distillers on Aug. 10. The seven-piece, which released “Roots Party EP” last year and is gearing up for its fifth studio album, according to its website bio, performed in Bend last summer with Pepper at the Century Center. Tickets cost $20 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at bendticket.com (plus fees), The Herb Center or both Growler Guys locations in Bend.
• Former Kid Rock compatriot Uncle Kracker will perform at the Tower Theatre on Sept. 1. The country-rock singer-songwriter is best known for early 2000s singles “Follow Me” and a cover version of “Drift Away.” General admission tickets cost $55 plus a $3 theater preservation fee, and are currently on sale at towertheatre.org or the Tower box office.
• Munch & Music returns to Drake Park for its 28th season July 12. Artists for the outdoor concert series were announced this week, and include:
July 12 — The Romantics (new wave)
July 19 — Blitzen Trapper, with Tang (country/folk/rock)
July 26 — Polyrhythmics (jazz/dance/jams), with Jonathan Bourke Trio (local jazz)
Aug. 2 — Rising Appalachia (folk/world), with Makaila and Friends (young local songwriter)
Aug. 9 — The Itals, with Indubious (reggae/rock)
Aug. 16 — Super Diamond (Neil Diamond tribute), with Company Grand (theatrical rock/R&B)
