Self-proclaimed “Central Oregon’s only noise artist” Keegan Kornowski — better known as I Hope We Both Die — will say farewell with a rare performance at Ranch Records on Friday. Since starting the project in late 2014, Kornowski, 22, has channeled the darker aspects of life and human nature into three albums incorporating ethereal piano pieces, unsettling samples and of course, scads of chaotic noise. He comes full circle on the fourth and final album as I Hope We Both Die, “We’ll Meet Again,” which will be released at the show Friday. The long-gestating work combines elements of all his previous recordings while introducing more structure via beats, according to Kornowski. The album’s title is also apt — though I Hope We Both Die is ending, Kornowski is sure he’ll be back with new music at some point.

I Hope We Both Die album release and final performance: 7 p.m. Friday; free; Ranch Records, 117 NW Oregon Ave., Bend; bit.ly/bbHopeWeBothDie or 541-389-6116.
