Portland’s 20-member, music-and-performing-art collective MarchFourth was coming to Bend when it was actually a marching band, long before it became a touring band. “I think we did two or three shows at The Grove, maybe four, and we’d all end up over at (owner) Chris (Lohrey’s) house after the show, so it was sort of like this continuing party,” bandleader/bassist John Averill said in an interview with GO! last year. Nearly two decades and four albums in (including last year’s “Magic Number,” recorded in New Orleans), the collective has streamlined for the road, but still makes Bend a regular stop. It will bring its massive show, complete with acrobats, stilt-walkers and second-line grooves, to the Domino Room on Saturday. Local vaudeville funk/soul collective Company Grand will open.

MarchFourth, with Company Grand: 9 p.m. Saturday; $20 plus fees in advance, $25 at the door; Domino Room, 51 NW Greenwood Ave., Bend; parallel44presents.com or 541-408-4329.
