Who: Megan Marie Myers works are on display at Townshend’s Teahouse through May 31. Painter and illustrator Myers’ pieces are inspired by the outdoors and the adventurous lifestyles of the Northwest. The native Oregonian often uses children and animals as central figures in her art, exploring the themes of companionship between the two and the wildernesses they are depicted in. Her work has been featured in regional publications and through partnerships with local companies including Hydro Flask, Tour des Chutes and Outdoor Ukulele.
