Who: Works by Royal Nebeker will be displayed during “The Night Window” exhibition At Liberty through Sept. 28. Nebeker worked in various mediums throughout his career including monotypes, watercolors, etchings and lithographs. His works used many personal stories, dreams and childhood memories that were then combined with song lyrics, poetry and prose to evoke emotional imagery in each piece. His art has been featured in galleries and exhibitions across the United States and Europe. He was a full-time faculty member at Clatsop Community College for 26 years, a visiting artist-teacher to other Oregon universities and colleges and was appointed to the Oregon Arts Commission in 2006. Nebeker died in 2014 in Seaside.
