Does your short fiction give goosebumps to readers at your writing workshop? Whether you’re a natural-born storyteller or a student of Stephen King or Edgar Allan Poe, The Bulletin wants your ghoulish prose in its second annual Halloween Fiction Contest.

Entries are limited to 650 words and must be original work never before published. The stories will be published in The Bulletin’s GO! Magazine section on Oct. 31. The deadline for all entries is Oct. 17. One entry per person.

The contest is open to Central Oregon residents only. The judges’ decision is final. By entering the contest, you are granting The Bulletin a royalty-free license to publish your story in print and online. Winners’ names and photos may appear in The Bulletin.
