Dirtwire, the “swamptronica” trio featuring Beats Antigue’s David Satori, Evan Fraser of The Dogon Lights and Bolo, and Jed and Lucia’s Mark Reveley, will return to Bend to play Seventh Mountain Resort on Wednesday ahead of its latest studio album, “Electric River.” Since the trio’s first visit to Bend at Volcanic Theatre Pub more than two years ago, they have continued to be regular visitors while expanding on their blend of world, folk, electronic and more (not to mention increasing their already intimidating collection of unusual instruments including n’goni, jaw harp and pandeiro, making their shows feasts for the ears and the eyes). New single “Talking Bird” features Gabon, Africa, artist Mbilou on vocals and mungongo (a type of mouth bow from Gabon, Africa, according to the band’s Facebook post announcing the song) and offers up new wrinkles in the trio’s dance-meets-roots sound.

Dirtwire, with Lapa: 6:30 p.m. Wednesday; $20 plus fees in advance; Seventh Mountain Resort, 18575 SW Century Drive, Bend; 1988entertainment.com, eventbrite.com or 541-382-8711.
