‘Divergence’ opens — First Friday Art Walk returns to the Old Mill District and downtown Bend, with galleries, cafes and other businesses staying open late, from about 5 to 9 p.m., to offer visual art, music, appetizers and wine. At Liberty Arts Collaborative will host the opening of the group show “Divergence.” The exhibit features photos, paintings, drawings and prints by eight artists: Hong Chun Zhang, Susan Rochester, Nathan Lewis, Analee Fuentes, Tallmadge Doyle, Leah Wilson, Kirsten Furlong and Frank Miller. The artists have their own strategies and approaches, “but also share an affinity for elegance, technical skill and design,” according to a press release for the event, which starts at 5. At Liberty is located in the historic Liberty Theater, 849 NW Wall St. Contact: 458-206-3040.
