High Desert Chamber Music Concert Series

High Desert Chamber Music will kick off its eighth concert series at the Tower Theatre with Los Angeles’ Catgut Trio on Sept. 25.

Heiichiro Ohyama & SBCO Chamber Players, Gold Coast Concert Artists and The Crown City String Quartet & Friends round out the series, which concludes May 20, 2016.

High Desert Chamber Music’s Spotlight Series, which raises funds for its Educational Outreach programs, will feature two recitals at the First United Methodist Church in Bend — Frank Almond on Nov. 20 and the Orloff/Walz Duo on April 23, 2016.

The Valentine’s Day concert, featuring Heiichiro Ohyama & SBCO Chamber Players, will include a complimentary rose and a custom treat from Goody’s Chocolates with admission, according to the release.

High Desert Chamber Music will also hold its annual Benefit Gala, including a performance, dinner and silent auction, Nov. 14 at the Bend Golf & Country Club, 61045 Country Club Drive. Tickets for the gala cost $85.

General admission tickets for the concert series and spotlight series shows cost $40 or $10 for children and students. The Valentine’s Day show costs $48 or $15 for children and students. Season-ticket subscriptions, available until midnight on the opening night of the season, include all concert series and spotlight series events at a 10 percent discount, and seating in a reserved section, according to the release.
