Mary Leona (Chapman) Toothman of Madras died Friday of natural causes. She was 90.

A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Thursday at Bel-Air Colonial Chapel in Madras. A cryptside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 2, at Idlewilde Memorial Mausoleum in Hood River.

Mrs. Toothman was born Sept. 21, 1913, in Goldendale, Wash., to Alonzo and Elva (Bonjer) Day. She married Al Chapman on Sept. 21, 1930, in Goldendale and later married Al Toothman in December of 1975 in Madras.

Mrs. Toothman was a homemaker and former member of the Lady Elks.

Her hobbies included sewing, reading, crossword puzzles, hunting, fishing, camping and traveling.

Survivors include her two sons, Clyde Chapman of Hood River and Don Chapman of Madras; a daughter, Donna Mooney of Madras; eight grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, two brothers and a sister.
