McMenamins announced Thursday plans to bring regular concerts to the grounds of its Grand Lodge in Forest Grove starting in June.

The venue is about 25 miles west of Portland. The former Masonic and Eastern Star Lodge was built in 1922, and McMenamins created a hotel with bars, restaurants and a soaking pool, which opened in 2000.

Grand Lodge Concerts in the Grove will have a capacity of 3,000, making it about half the size of McMenamins’ other local outdoor venue, Edgefield.

While the summer music series will be a new, Grand Lodge has already hosted musical events like the Sundown Grand ol’ Country Festival and the American Music Festival.

No acts for Grand Lodge Concerts in the Grove have been announced.

McMenamins operates more than 50 establishments in Oregon and Washington, according to its website, including the Old St. Francis School in downtown Bend.
